Companions usually reply within seconds. If yours has gone quiet:
- Check your connection. On a weak network the app shows your message as "Sending…" and keeps trying; if it can't get through, you'll see "Not sent. Tap to retry." Nothing you write is lost.
- Give it a moment. The typing indicator means a reply is on the way.
- Out of free messages? The app will let you know — your allowance tops back up regularly, or Vilo PLUS removes the wait.
- Still nothing? Close and reopen the chat, and make sure you're on the latest app version.
